My name is Alexandra.My friends call me Ale (like Ali).  I collect hobbies like its going out of style. My sweet husband puts up with my art projects that spill into every corner of our charming home in Portland, Oregon. In my professional life, I’m a Chef, trained in French cuisine & Pastry Arts. Recently, I’ve left the hustle and bustle of the kitchen behind to become a stay at home mom, to our daughter, Willow. We have one very neurotic cat named Penny and happy little puppy named Luna. I’m passionate about a lot of things, and outspoken about nearly all of them. I’m a pro-choice, pro-family feminist trying to leave things better than they were when I found them. That said, I’m occasionally prone to snark attacks, colorful language and weird humor.I drink entirely too much coffee. I long for the day we can buy some land in the country and spend our days surrounded by chickens, flowers and acres of strawberries. Until then, we’re handcrafting a life in our offbeat, quirky city.
